Last Friday, Zagreb’s Kontessa Club was buzzing with energy as we brought together amazing cocktails, great company, and a meaningful cause. We welcomed over 100 guests, all uniting to support the Croatian Alliance for Rare Diseases.
“Rare diseases often don’t get the attention or funding they deserve. At Arete Puro, we feel it’s our duty to step up and make a difference. We hope this inspires others to do the same,” shared our very own Martina Lekaj, founder of Aristippus Liquors.

Sara Bajlo, president of the Croatian Alliance for Rare Diseases, highlighted the significance of the event: “This kind of support shows the power of community and compassion. Thank you for recognizing our work and showing our members they’re not alone.”
To make the night even more special, we organized a charity raffle featuring generous donations from Arun Thai Massage by Leo, Tramonto the Label, Arete Puro, and Merla—all contributing to a great cause. Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we were able to raise an incredible €1,100 to help those in need!
Adding to the magic of the evening, we embraced a 1920s/Great Gatsby theme, complete with an incredible performance by the Sick Swing Orchestra. Our guests loved every moment, and we can’t thank the band enough for bringing our theme to life!
