Arete Puro signature cocktails that defined 2025: One unusual ingredient stole the spotlight
When we look back on 2025, we’ll remember it for – amazing cocktails!
Cocktails made with Arete Puro gin, crafted with the creative touch of mixologist and brand ambassador Ozana Domić, have flooded feeds and glasses – and for good reason! These three signature cocktails were the most liked and shared on Arete Puro’s social media.
Below, we share their simple recipes and hope you’ll try them at home, if you haven’t already.
1. A’s Breeze
For a refreshing and light A’s Breeze, you’ll need: Arete Puro gin, lemon juice, elderflower syrup, mint, and soda.
Recipe:
- 30 ml Arete Puro gin
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 15 ml elderflower syrup
- 5 mint leaves
Preparation:
Stir all ingredients, pour into a glass filled with ice, and top up with soda. For an extra effect, you can add a few drops of activated charcoal.

2. Mr. Grinch
Although the holidays are behind us, winter still lasts on the calendar. That’s why there’s still time to try our sweetest signature cocktail for the colder days, aptly named Mr. Grinch.
Recipe:
- 40 ml Arete Puro gin
- 20 ml watermelon liqueur
- 50 ml pineapple juice
- Aquafaba – 4 drops
- Orange bitters – 4 dashes
- 20 ml lemon juice
Glass: tumbler
Ice: cube
Garnish: dehydrated pineapple or grated orange peel
Preparation:
Place all ingredients in a shaker. Pineapple juice naturally creates foam, but adding aquafaba will make it thicker and longer lasting. Shake well, then add a few ice cubes and shake again before straining the cocktail into a glass. Preferably, use a large ice cube, but smaller ones work just fine.
Garnish is optional: grated orange peel is perfect for those who enjoy the aroma and a hint of bitterness first, while dehydrated pineapple is ideal for anyone who likes a little snack with their cocktail.
3. Mrs. Arete
This cocktail is as smooth as it is refreshing, making it an ideal choice for any occasion – whether you’re unwinding after a long day or enjoying good company.
Recipe:
- 30 ml Arete Puro gin
- 15 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 20 ml Italicus Rosolio di Bergamotto
- 15 ml forest fruit syrup
Preparation:
Shake all ingredients in a shaker and pour into a glass with ice. Top up with tonic. Cheers!
