As we head into the final week of exciting after-work events in Zagreb, we’re reflecting on a June full of unforgettable summer nights with Arete Puro Gin taking center stage in every glass. Crafted by acclaimed mixologist Ozana Domić – brand ambassador and owner of Croatia’s only cocktail catering service – the signature cocktails turned each event into a true experience.

We launched the season at the iconic Peppers Bar in Zagreb’s Trešnjevka district. A casual post-work gathering quickly turned into a fantastic party after a long workday, thanks to Arete Puro Gin, Ozana’s signature cocktails, and well-known hits performed by the one and only Boris Rogoznica, whose performance had the entire bar dancing. It was clear from the start that this pre-summer event season would exceed all our expectations. The unforgettable evening at Peppers proved once again how little it takes for a great time – the right crowd, the right place, and a premium local gin that, despite its short time on the market, captivates audiences with its aromatic flavor, bold character, and refined style.

For the first time, we teamed up with IBMC (International Business Meetup Club), the most entertaining business and networking party in town, which brought together 250 guests for its last gathering before the summer break. While new deals were being made, experiences exchanged, and meetings arranged in the atmospheric Magazinska Klet on Tkalčićeva Street, Arete Puro cocktails proved to be the perfect business partner for refreshment. We proved that business and pleasure truly go hand in hand, and nothing delighted us more than seeing vibrant Arete Puro Gin cocktails in guests’ hands throughout the entire evening.

The next day, we moved “to the clouds” – to the beautiful and discreet rooftop of Zagreb’s Met Boutique Hotel. Yet all eyes were on the Arete Puro cocktails that refreshed around a hundred guests celebrating the 10th anniversary of the acclaimed local lifestyle portal Jolie.hr.
The sophisticated aromatics of the premium Arete Puro Gin, based on carefully selected Mediterranean botanicals, came to life in three signature cocktails created exclusively for this event. Silent Bloom was a seductive combination of Arete Puro Gin with lemon and strawberry, further refreshed with prosecco. Gin me gently blended Arete Puro Gin, tonic, mango, and mint with a citrusy twist of lemon. According to many guests, the absolute winner of the evening was Melancholy, offering a foamy mix of Arete Puro Gin, melon liqueur, pineapple, and fresh lemon, with an intriguing touch of aquafaba – chickpea water.

We wrapped up June in an atmosphere that can’t be described – only experienced. To the rhythm of top-tier music, surrounded by a vibrant crowd and glasses filled with pure enjoyment courtesy of Arete Puro Gin, we celebrated the first anniversary of the INSITE Croatia portal at the well-known Zagreb venue The Garden Brewery – Taproom. INSITE, a multimedia platform promoting the Croatian creative scene and electronic music, has spent the past 365 days tirelessly sharing stories about local artists, events, clubs, festivals, bars, galleries, and popular alternative spots – with the goal of placing Croatian talent on the international stage. INSITE Croatia and Arete Puro are united by a shared vision – to tell an authentic and creative local story on a global level, engaging all the senses.
